Ashby Travel, a locally owned travel agency, located in Mount Airy, NC was built by J.G. Coram Company.
J.G. Coram Company built this beautiful restaurant located on the Galax, Virginia Municipal Golf Course. The restaurant features a beautiful dining room as well as a deck dining area. The beautiful interior and exterior décor provides the area with a fine dining experience.
The Corporate Office of J.G. Coram Company, Inc. is one of our many projects that combines an attractive brick facade with a highly functional and cost-competitive Butler Building. In the past fifteen years we have added two separate additions to the rear of the building. The use of expandable end walls has allowed these additions to be done at a minimal cost.
This structure stands out as one of our most attractive and is one of six major projects for Duke Power Company, now Duke Energy, built since 1980. The curved glass front facing I-85 added a special dimension to the building. Architect Dennis Hall was so pleased with our workmanship that he was instrumental in helping us to obtain contracts for two more major projects designed by his firm.
No major maintenance after ten years and still attractive! This design-build 50 unit project pleased the owners so much that the J.G. Coram Company was selected to build an adjacent facility for several outlet stores. The building integrity was also helpful in convincing another owner to select J.G. Coram Company to build the Bryson Inn on I-77 near Mount Airy.
J.G. Coram Company built several Neighbors Convenience Stores throughout North Carolina. Many of these stores have now been converted to Circle K Convenience Stores.
J.G. Coram Company completed this 50,000 sf Family Entertainment Center located in Shallotte, NC in 2009. Planet Fun is Brunswick County's largest family entertainment center. They offer 32 lanes of bowling, a 2-story laser tag arena, a 9-hole cosmic mini-golf course, a redemption arcade, bounce house, bowling pro shop, and the unique Starz Grille family restaurant.
Upon completing this RAX Restaurant in Mount Airy, J.G. Coram Company was selected to build a second RAX restaurant in Boone. After RAX decided to close their North Carolina operations, both buildings were sold and are now locally owned but still extremely attractive and functional.
J.G. Coram Company has built several office buildings and warehouses in Surry County, North Carolina for Surry Telephone Membership Corporation (STMC) as they have grown and progressed in the telephone and technology industry.
